1. Ownership
Unless stated otherwise, everything on huloglobal.com and our related sites and services is the copyright of HULO Global Limited or its licensors: text, documentation, images, illustrations, logos, page designs, source and object code, data compilations, email templates, videos and downloadable files. It is protected by the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and international treaties. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
2. What you may reuse
Website pages. You may view, download and print pages for your personal use or for internal reference within your organisation, provided you keep all notices intact and do not modify the material. Quotations of reasonable length for the purposes of criticism, review, news reporting or education are permitted with attribution to HULO Global and a link to the source page.
Documentation. Product documentation and installation guides may be copied for use by licensed customers of the relevant product and their contractors, for the purpose of installing, configuring and operating that product.
Code samples. Short code snippets that we publish in documentation or blog posts to illustrate integration with our products may be used in your own projects without attribution. This does not extend to the products themselves or to substantial portions of their source code.
Open source. Software we release under an open-source licence may be used under the terms of that licence, which governs the code. The licence does not cover our names and logos; see the Trade mark and brand policy.
Everything else requires our prior written permission. Requests to [email protected].
3. Software licences
Our commercial software is licensed, not sold. PayrollOS hosted access is governed by the PayrollOS subscription terms. Vendure plugins are governed by the plugin licence and policies. Bespoke deliverables are governed by the Terms of business and the relevant statement of work. In each case the licence, not this page, defines what you may do with the software.
4. Third-party content
Some material on our sites is used under licence from third parties, including fonts, icons, photographs and open-source libraries. Their owners retain their rights. Where a licence requires attribution we provide it in the relevant file, page footer or documentation. Third-party product names and logos belong to their owners.
5. Reporting copyright infringement (notice and takedown)
If you believe material on any HULO Global site or service infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected] with the subject “Copyright notice” containing:
- your name, organisation, postal address, email and telephone number;
- identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed, with a link or copy where possible;
- the URL or precise location of the material you want removed;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement, made under penalty of the law of England and Wales relating to false statements, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner;
- your physical or electronic signature.
We will acknowledge complete notices within two working days, remove or disable access to material that appears to infringe, and notify the person who posted it where we can. If they send a counter-notice explaining why the material does not infringe, we may restore it after ten working days unless you tell us you have started court proceedings. We may ignore notices that are incomplete, abusive or repeatedly unfounded, and we may share notices with the affected user.
6. Reporting misuse of HULO content
If you find our content, software, documentation or licence keys being copied, sold or distributed without authority, email [email protected] with the location and any evidence. We act on every report.
7. Changes
We may update this page at any time. The date at the top shows the current version.
